The Question:

Sophia feels like she needs to give more attention to what her future with her friends and family will be like. What does the Universe have in store for her? How will her old life coalesce with her new life? Or will it?

The twins can’t help her with this one. As Chibold, they can communicate with the Universe, but their purpose is more to deliver and relay messages, not to help those they guide find personal answers. For that, Sophia is on her own.

She’s turned to the practice of Tarot Card Reading, something she’d been taught years ago by her once-friend, Ivory. Will Sophia’s intuition help guide her through this journey of personal exploration?

The Set Up

For this reading, we’re using a Message from the Universe spread. The deck has been divided into five piles: Major Arcana, wands, cups, swords, and pentacles. Each pile has been shuffled while Sophia focuses her energy on opening her heart, mind, and soul to the answers she doesn’t know she’s looking for.

We’ve placed the five piles face down. The Major Arcanas are in the center. To the NW we have the wands, SW the cups, SE the pentacles, and NE the swords. We’ll turn over the top card on each pile. If an area needs more attention, we’ll look at the card on the bottom for advice on what actions to take.

A Note on Reversed Cards:

Due to the high number of reversed Tarot cards, there may be a lot of blocked energy about this situation. Sophia may be confused or unable to see her situation clearly. She may want to take this reading and reflect inwardly for a while. Looking into past lessons she’s learned may help her with what she needs to do now and in the future. Had all the cards been reversed, it could have meant that the Universe wasn’t ready to answer her questions or that Sophia wasn’t ready to hear the answer.

The Interpretation:

Sophia, right now you’re connected to the seasons and attuned to the cycles of life and death. Maybe this is where your concerns come from regarding friends and family … the fear of the immortal world causing you drift away from the mortal one.

You want to honor all of these phases of life and are concerned over everything that is growing. You’ve become the quintessential mother, but you need to nurture without force or rejection. While you need to take proper action, you’re in danger of smothering something or someone if you don’t tread carefully.

Heed this warning: stop rushing your situation, or there may be consequences.

Your psychic abilities are very strong right now, and you can clearly see the big picture surrounding the problem even when it isn’t clear to others. Your sensitivity toward others may lead to you knowing something is wrong before they do, and you try to keep everyone happy and comfortable. That said, you need to be careful with your compassion, as it may lead to others controlling your emotions or manipulating you.

While you’ve been someone your friends can open up to, you haven’t been opening up with them. Be careful that your guarded attitude doesn’t make you come across as distance or harsh. Temper your responses to people or your actions may drive your friends and family away before your calling does.
